Silver Hair/Retirement (E33E)

Requirements

  1. Passport with a minimum validity of 6 months.

  2. Passport photos.

  3. Proof of living costs min. US$2000. This refers to a recent bank statement.

  4. Statement of commitment to deposit funds in an account in one's own name at a State-Owned Bank of at least US$50,000, which must be fulfilled no later than 90 days after granting the ITAS at TPI. The balance of US$50,000 has to be maintained during the whole period of visa validity.

  5. Proof of income or benefits min. amount of US$3000. This refers to monthly pension payments, overseas business earnings or payments from individual entities.

  6. You have to be at least 60 years old.

As a visa holder, you must:

  • Report any accounts held in state-owned banks in Indonesia to the immigration office within 90 days of your arrival.

  • Ensure you have sufficient funds throughout your stay in Indonesia.

  • Abide by all visa conditions and the laws of Indonesia.

Other Information

- If you meet the necessary conditions, you will automatically receive the Electronic Limited Stay Permit (e-ITAS) and Re-Entry Permit upon your arrival at the Immigration Checkpoint. This means you won't have to make a separate trip to the immigration office for the Limited Stay Permit and Re-Entry Permit.

- It is important to note that engaging in prohibited activities, failing to comply with visa conditions or disregarding Indonesian laws can lead to fines, deportation and potential legal consequences.

- Besides the electronic limited stay permit, you have the option to obtain a physical card at the immigration office for your convenience.

Global Talent
(E33 A/B)

Global Talent Visas are available for individuals with special skills from countries like the United States, Canada, Australia and select European Union countries.

To be eligible, applicants must provide proof of their expertise through educational certificates, work experience or other professional achievements. Foreigners with special skills can either be invited by the Indonesian government or can collaborate with them.

Specializations in IT, Science, Medicine, Engineering and Art are some of the fields that are currently in high demand within Indonesia. If you hold a Global Talent Visa, you can also apply for a visa for your family members, including your child, spouse or parent.


Requirements

If you're a foreigner invited by the government (E33A): 

  1. Valid passport with at least 6 months validity.

  2. Passport photo.

  3. Proof of living expenses (minimum US$2,000). 

  4. Guarantee from the guarantor (central government) and a statement explaining the need for the foreigner.

If you're a foreigner with global talent collaborating with the government (E33B): 

  1. Valid passport with at least 6 months validity.

  2. Passport photo.

  3. Proof of living expenses (minimum US$2,000).

  4. Statement of commitment to submit evidence of cooperation with the government or state institutions within 90 days.

  5. Evidence of special expertise, such as a specialized certificate or graduation from one of the world's top 100 universities with a GPA of at least 3.5 or equivalent.

As a visa holder, you must:

• Report any accounts held in state-owned banks to the immigration office within 90 days of your arrival.

• Ensure you have sufficient funds throughout your stay in Indonesia.

• Abide by all visa conditions and the laws of Indonesia.

The visa permits holders to a 5-10 year period in Indonesia with the possibility of obtaining visas for their immediate family members, such as their children, spouse or parents.

Visa Requirements for Foreign World Leaders Establishing a Company (E33 D):

(E33)

The new Second Home Golden Visa is available for individuals looking to purchase a second home and reside in Indonesia for 5-10 years, and permits you to apply for your family members to join you.

As a holder of the Second Home Visa, you have the flexibility to engage in a variety of activities such as investing, traveling freely or simply purchasing and enjoying your new home in Indonesia.


Requirements

  1. Passport with a minimum validity of 6 months.

  2. Passport photos.

  3. Proof of living expenses min. US$ 2000.

  4. Statement of commitment to deposit funds in an account in your name at a state-owned bank worth at least US$130,000 or equivalent. The balance of US$130,000 has to be maintained during the whole period of visa validity; or statement of commitment to purchase property in the form of flats or apartments in Indonesia worth at least US$1,000,000 equivalent which must be fulfilled within a maximum period of 90 days as of the date of granting the Limited Stay Permit.

As a visa holder, you must:

• Report any accounts held in state-owned banks to the immigration office within 90 days of your arrival.

• Ensure you have sufficient funds throughout your stay in Indonesia.

• Abide by all visa conditions and the laws of Indonesia.

Other Information

The Ex-Indonesian Golden Visa is open to former Indonesian citizens (WNI) and foreign citizens who are children of Indonesian citizens or ex-Indonesian citizens (WNA). This unique visa is a non-working visa designed to support foreigners who wish to stay in Indonesia long-term (from 5-10 years).

Individuals holding the Ex-Indonesian Golden Visa can apply for family visas for their children, spouse or parents. Requirements

Ex-Indonesian Citizens (WNA) (E32A)

  1. Passport with a minimum of 6 months validity.

  2. Passport photo.

  3. Proof of living expenses (minimum of US$2000).

  4. Statement of commitment to purchase one of the following:

    1. Indonesian Government bonds of at least US$35,000.

    2. Shares in listed companies in Indonesia of at least US$35,000.

    3. Mutual funds in publicly listed companies in Indonesia of at least US$35,000.

    4. These obligations must be fulfilled no later than 90 days after the ITAS is granted.

Second-degree Ex-Indonesian Citizens (E32B)

  1. Valid passport with a minimum of 6 months validity.

  2. Passport photo.

  3. Proof of living expenses (minimum of US$2000).

  4. Statement of commitment to purchase one of the following:

    1. Indonesian Government bonds of US$50,000.

    2. Shares in listed companies in Indonesia of at least US$50,000.

    3. Mutual funds in publicly listed companies in Indonesia of at least US$50,000.

These obligations must be fulfilled no later than 90 days after the ITAS is granted.

Requirements

Individual Investors Establishing a Company (E28B)

  1. Passport with a minimum of 6 months validity.

  2. Passport photo.

  3. Proof of living expenses of at least US$5000.

  4. Proof of shared ownership in companies outside Indonesia, as stated in a financial audit report from an international standard public accounting firm.

  5. Proof of certain turnover/sales value in overseas companies, as stated in a financial audit report from an international standard public accounting firm.

  6. Statement of commitment to establish a company in Indonesia with a minimum investment value of:

    1. For a 5-year visa: US$2,500,000

    2. For a 10-year visa: US$5,000,000.

These requirements must be fulfilled within 90 days of receiving the visa.

Individual Investors Not Establishing a Company (E28C)

  1. Passport with a minimum of 6 months validity.

  2. Passport photo.

  3. Proof of living expenses of at least US$5000.

  4. Statement of commitment that you will purchase one of the following:

For a 5-year visa:

  • Indonesian Government bonds worth at least US$350,000.

  • Shares in publicly listed companies in Indonesia worth at least US$350,000.

  • Mutual funds in publicly listed companies in Indonesia worth at least US$350,00.

For a 10-year visa:

  • Indonesian Government bonds worth at least US$700,000.

  • Shares in publicly listed companies in Indonesia worth at least US$700,000.

  • Mutual funds in publicly listed companies in Indonesia worth at least US$700,000.

  • Flats or apartments worth at least US$1,000,000.

Directors or Commissioners Establishing a Company in Indonesia (E28D)

  1. Passport with a minimum of 6 months validity.

  2. Passport photo.

  3. Proof of living expenses of at least US$5000.

  4. Statement of commitment to establish a company in Indonesia with a minimum investment value of:

    1. For a 5-year visa: US$25,000,000

    2. For a 10-year visa: US$50,000,000, to be fulfilled within 90 days of receiving the visa.
