The Pre-investment Visa D12 is a new and exciting option for those looking to explore investment potential in Indonesia.
If you would like to stay long term in Bali without having to constantly extend your visa, the new D12 visa is most definitely an option worth exploring, as it gives you 180 days in the country from the day you land.
It is a multiple entry visit visa for those looking to investigate potential investment opportunities in Indonesia. Whilst this means you can’t work for an Indonesian company or set up a company in the country on this visa, you will be free to scout out business opportunities, conduct field surveys and stay long term in Bali.
This visa is valid for either 1 or 2 years, depending on the option you choose. It is becoming ever more popular because of the fact that, unlike other Visit Visa options which require frequent extensions, it grants holders up to 180 days before needing to be extended.

It is important to make sure you are following Indonesian law and regulations during your stay, which means not selling goods or services or working for Indonesian companies whilst in Indonesia. If you do so, you could be deported, incur fines or be legally charged, so please only work for the foreign company you are employed by, and check with us if you have any doubts about the limitations of your visa.
Eligibility Requirements and Required Documents
1. Passport with a validity of at least 6 months.
2. Personal bank statement in PDF with a minimum balance USD $5000 (or equivalent).
3. A recent portrait photograph.
4. Accommodation address in Bali.
5. CV & Itinerary plan.
Getting Your D12 Visa
